I’ve been thinking about changing up my personal Patreon to offer diversity consultant services to conventions. That way you get a thing in return for the monies you/a convention committee gives me. I’m in no position to start a LLC on my own, but it’s an idea.

I just wonder if being a PT consultant on diversity concerns for conventions is a viable thing to do. Some cons don’t seem to want help. However I can think of quite a few that NEED the help not to have either #diversifyyourpanels or #needsmorewhitepeople used on them. I worry about burnout if i did that kind of thing all the time. It’s hard work and emotional labor that’s hard to put a price on. But it’s needed, Maker above is it needed for a lot of cons I go to/have considered but are full of fail re: diversity in panelists/topics.

So thoughts? If you plan on telling me how I’ll fail? Just STFU and find a corner to sit in. Not here for that today ok? So thoughts? If you plan on telling me how I’ll fail? Just STFU and find a corner to sit in. Not here for that today ok?
